Violet turned 5 months yesterday! Wow!! I love this blog and following others, but I never update this enough for anyone to follow our blog. Plus, when someone leaves a comment, it does not notify you. Oh well, time goes by too too fast for me. Fatima turned 12. Rob is working away the fire eason and I go back to work in two months... so sad! Is there another way??? Well, for anyone reading this, thank you for checking in. We love our family and friends...

Rob started the fire season. ggggGGGGGGOOOOOOO Rob! Year three for UFRA, only this time he is a squad boss. That means he can cuss now and not get into any trouble. Haa Haa, JK. It just means he has a lot more responsibility and cant have a mohawk this time. Sorry Rob. Stay tuned for up and coming fire info. P.S. He graduated the fire academy with flying colors. Red and yellow to be exact. Ggreat job in the tuna can Rob. We love you.

OMG! I cant believe the last thing I wrote about seems like ages ago. A great friend of mine told me that I have to update this thing or she will officially disown me. So, in leua (is that how you spell loo?) of that... We proudly introduce our new baby girl. Violet Mae Reedy... 8 lbs., 20 inches, 2/20/2009, and more beautiful than we could have hoped for.

We love our family and friends. Rob and I are blessed to be able to do so many fun things. We have had family picnics, ice cream date night, parties at the park, baseball with Grammy, and loving temple days.

WHAT IS STILL TO COME? We have our Year One Anniversary. We are completing the adoption process for Fatima. We will be sealed this month in the temple and finally be FAMILY FOREVER!!!
Fatima has her yearly district science fair this month. Her experiment is on, you guessed it: fire.
My brother's and nephew's baptism is in December and we hope to be able to attend!
Rob starts the structure fire academy in January.

Phew! What exciting adventures! 2008 will soon be nothing but a twinkle.

YAHOOOOO!!!! The baby is a.....

We are thrilled. Fatima is so excited to be a big sister. Rob is very happy that we are having a little girl. (However, we all know they are not "little" for long.) I hope she has his amazing eyes and he hopes she has my curly hair. The ultrasound brought us great news. All ten fingers and toes are there. Due date is still 2/25/2009. Time is flying!

Where does the time go? Rob has been here and has already gone, like a flash of lightning. Only He is much cuter than lightning. But probably as hot. He is in MOAB, wherever that is. We want to wish you all a happy Labor Day! Stars and Stripes!

August 9, 2008. Rob was transported to Chelan, WA. Not for another mission. But for a fire. He anticipates being home from WA on August 25. Fingers are crossed.

The "BLOG" Thing

It sort of sounds like.. The "Blob" Thing. Thank you all for posting comments... they make us laugh! So, everyone is asking for an UPDATE on the new house. WE LOVE IT! We got all moved in with a MAJOR thanks to Tim and Joe and the Stonewood ward... I am so grateful that everyone helped me...

As soon as Rob gets home, he has to fix the dryer, take out the empty boxes, clean the garage, hang the mirror, fix the towel rack, set up the TV, change the HUTCH to the other room for BABY, set up the bed frame, lift the dresser, remove the paint from the sink, AND then he can rest. For a minute. Poor guy. But after all that, I hope to have a PARTY... and who does not love a PARTY!?!

If I had the camera, I could post some pictures. Rob takes the CAMERA on the fires with him. He takes pictures of CHARRED squirrels. (No, really, he does). And he records things like other crew members eating banana SLUGS... maybe we will POST THAT!!! ha ha ha

Breaking Dawn...

What is all the HYPE about Breaking Dawn? Only that it is the best book ever, (besides its predessessors)... I love each and every character. Edward is my favorite. So far. It is amazing that just a book can arouse so many senses and make you feel awkward emotions you are not used to feeling. I am having a great time reading it, even though I have a love hate relationship with Jacob. Can you hear me? Kudos to those that have already finished it. Please dont ruin the ending for me, or I will have to sick my werewolf on you...

So, I am a little "new" to the blog thing. But I figure, everyone I know is doing it, so I probably should too. Fatima, if you are reading this, you may ask, "If all of your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?" The answer is no. No, I would not jump off the bridge. Rob is sitting behind me on the floor working away at a 3D puzzle. It is kinda cool. Why am I not helping him, you ask? The better questions is.... Why is he NOT helping me with this new little thing you call "blogging"???

He says that if a page for our family ever was to be done, it would only be because I did it, not him...
